Turner County will be hosting a livestock judging school on Tuesday, June 23rd at the Turner County Fairgrounds in Parker.
There will be a session starting at 6:30 p.m. to go over how to mark cards and what to look for when judging livestock. This will be geared towards our new livestock judges or those that would like a refresher course. This class will last until 7 p.m.
Registration for all others will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the regular contest starting at 7 p.m. There will be six classes of livestock with juniors and seniors giving oral reasons. The beginners will have a parts ID class.
